Elementalist Lux: Magma Fury

For the #ELuxArtSGMY competition for League of Legends, South East Asia Server- hosted by Garena :3

Hot dayum did I spend time on this one TwT Firstly I rarely take drawing human girls seriously because they're quite a challenge for me, and secondly I decided to do the whole piece on photoshop which I'd never really done successfully before. But lately in school that's what we've been taught with and I wanted to really try it out in my own rendering style. I'm quite happy with the results for what I can do so far on PS. My improvement can very much be attributed by my wonderful tutors at school and the friends who've given me encouragement, support and feedback.

The task was to choose any of Lux's elementalist forms and illustrate it out either traditionally or digitally. But even before the competition was announced I already fell in love with her Magma design so when it was, I knew without a doubt I'd do this form of hers. Trouble was finding the references so I just rewatched the skin spotlights and paused at intervals (haha). I hope I didn't miss out TOO many details. I tried to understand her clothes best I could from the sprite.

All in all it was so fun doing this- it too was challenging xD and I hope I can at least place in the top 10, if I don't make it to First, Second or Third place. (Top 3 will only earn the skin prize) seriouslythoughtheskinissoprettyIwantit  ( /;w; /)
